## What is this service?

Saying goodbye to a pet is one of the hardest decisions a pet owner may ever face. Euthanasia is considered only when an animal has an incurable illness, is in constant pain, or its quality of life has irreversibly declined. It is a decision made out of love and care, to spare the animal from suffering.

## How does it work?

Euthanasia is carried out in a calm, safe environment, with the owner present if they wish. First, the animal is given medication that sends it into a deep sleep, completely removing any pain or anxiety. Only once we are certain the animal is asleep and feels no discomfort is the next stage performed, during which the vital functions gently and peacefully stop.

The whole procedure is painless and humane.
